Loving God, Loving People

Service Times

Clay County has moved on to Step 2 Phase 2 of their Recovery Plan. They have provided updated guidelines for Faith-Based Groups and Worship Services. EBC will continue to follow these guidelines while offering in-person services.

We will continue to offer 2 services along with making the messages available at EBC Online. Here are some other changes that will continue for this time:

  • The chairs have been arranged to accommodate the most people while allowing for 6’ social distancing
  • Families will need to sit together in the same row, and keep 3-4 empty chairs between families
  • Children will need to stay with parents, as they need to observe the 6’ distancing also
  • We will not have a staffed nursery room, or any SS classes
  • Handshaking and hugs should not be practiced at this time
  • We will not have a meet-&-greet time during the service, and will not have a break time snack either
  • Bring your own coffee if that is a need for you
  • An offering basket will be placed at the back of the auditorium; we will not ‘pass the plate’

What kind of church is Emmanuel Bible Church?

We are a Christ-centered church.  EMMANUEL, meaning “God with us,” is the central focus of our church.  It is our desire to consistently acknowledge God’s presence in our everyday lives.

We are a BIBLE CHURCH.  The Holy Bible is God’s personal communication to us.  Therefore, we place the priority of our total ministry upon the Word of God.  We have classes and small groups for all ages.

We are a praying church.  We are committed to diligently praying for one another, our community, our country and for people around the world.  If you have a concern that you desire for us to assist you with or a need that you’d like us to pray for, please don’t hesitate to email us.

We hope that you would prayerfully consider a visit to Emmanuel Bible Church and encourage you to come and worship with us soon.

We are just 2 miles north of downtown (Main St/DD Hwy) Smithville, MO. From 169 Hwy turn west on 179th St.
